About me
Hi! My name is Camielle and I’m the designer behind Branded Artistry.
I help clients with new branding, or polish their existing branding, to elevate their business. I live in the beautiful city of Olympia, Washington, but have helped clients all over the US. I usually work independently, but I also collaborate with a network of skilled professionals when projects call for it.
I started designing websites on the side while I was in school (12+ years ago!), and ended up falling in love with the design process. I’ve always been the person who tinkered with Photoshop or was the one drawing all of my Christmas and birthday cards, so maybe I shouldn’t have been so surprised that this career was calling my name.
As I continued freelancing, I also got a full-time job as the lead web designer and developer about 6 years ago. Although I enjoyed my time as the lead web designer and developer, I wanted to create my own space, define my own process, and have the ability to open up my time to more clients. I love working with clients from around the US (but hey, if you’re from another country, I’d love to chat too!) and offering my thoughtful and collaborative process to make this a FUN endeavor.
A bit about my process:
- I create handcrafted, story-driven designs that create a more tangible connection with audiences.
- I have the target audience/user in mind at all times. It sure is fun to make a crazy design or a website a la 1999, but user experience is crucial if you want people to get to know your brand and become a customer.
- I choose brand colors that have a high enough contrast ratio. This not only allows your design to pop, it also helps people with visual impairments. Check out this blog post for more info!

Ok, here's even more about me!
In no particular order, you can usually find me:
- Getting outside as much as possible. Yes, I am that person in the pacific northwest with the hydration pack who is out enjoying nature, rain or shine.
- Playing around with my goof of a toddler. Her silliness brings me immense amounts of joy!
- Illustrating! I mostly draw digitally using my iPad with the Procreate app. I really enjoy creating repeat patterns — figuring out where everything fits is a really fun puzzle 😊
- Listening to music, audiobooks, or podcasts. I don’t know what I would do without the Libby app or Spotify! Currently (re)listening to the Lord of the Rings (I really love fantasy adventure anything) and The Ezra Klein Show.
- Snuggled up on my sofa with my husband, my sweet golden retriever (who is actually white instead of gold, and who is bad at retrieving), and my fluffy cat.
