Healing Within Brand Design

Heather had a simple website for her massage therapy practice. She was starting her own business, Healing Within, and was looking for help with her brand identity and website. We did a competitive analysis and talked about how she wanted to portray her brand. She knew she wanted it to have a natural and calm feel, and knew she wanted hands in her logo. She was also interested in seeing trees or plants in the logo to give it that natural feel. I drew several elements of the design on the website to give it that handcrafted feel that she was looking for.

Project details:

• We added the identifier “Massage and Wellness” underneath the logo to announce who they are and what they do at a glance.
• She wanted a website that was user friendly and easy to make quick changes. We went with a WordPress site since she was thinking about having a blog in the future (WordPress can be a great choice for this!). I made a how-to video for her to follow, and she has been able to make copy edits or site updates. I also did all the fun stuff like purchasing the domain for her, connecting it to the host, and then connecting the website with her appointment booking service and Google Analytics.
• Creation of assets such as business cards, flyers, and gift cards.
